Zenit 3SL before launch of Galaxy 16 (Sea Launch) The launch of a commercial communications satellite on a Sea Launch vehicle has been delayed one day because of a technical glitch. The Zenit 3SL was scheduled to lift off from the Odyssey floating launch platform on the Equator in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday, but the launch was postponed because of an "off-nominal indication during routine testing" prior to launch. The problem, which was not specified by Sea Launch in a statement, has been corrected, and the launch is now scheduled for Sunday at 3:50 am EDT (0750 GMT). The rocket is carrying the Galaxy 16 communications satellite for PanAmSat.
