Shuttle rollout delayed
Posted: Mon, Jul 31, 2006, 7:08 AM ET (1108 GMT)
NASA has delayed the rollout of the shuttle Atlantis because of stormy weather at the Kennedy Space Center. NASA has planned to start moving Atlantis to launch pad 39B shortly after midnight Monday, but elected to keep the shuttle inside the Vehicle Assembly Building because of thunderstorms around the space center. The rollout has been rescheduled for 10 pm Monday, weather permitting. Atlantis is scheduled to launch on mission STS-115 as early as August 27.
