STS-116: Discovery rollover to VAB (NASA/KSC) NASA moved the space shuttle Discovery to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at the Kennedy Space Center late Tuesday in preparation for its launch next month on an ISS assembly mission. Once in the VAB, Discovery will be mated to its external tank and solid rocket boosters. Discovery is scheduled to be rolled out to launch pad 39B on November 7th, one more before it scheduled launch on the STS-116 mission. On that mission the shuttle will deliver and install a new truss segment on the ISS.
