Progress M-58 on approach to ISS (NASA) A Progress cargo spacecraft docked successfully with the International Space Station late Friday. The Progress M-59 spacecraft (called Progress 24 by NASA) docked with the Pirs module of the ISS at 9:59 pm EST Friday (0259 GMT Saturday) while over the South Atlantic. There were no problems with the docking, unlike with the previous Progress mission to the station in October, when an antenna used by the spacecraft's automated navigation system failed to retract as required. The Progress is carrying over two and a half tons of supplies for the ISS and its three-person crew.
