Shuttle undocks from ISS

STS-127: ISS aftrer undocking (NASA) The space shuttle Endeavour undocked from the International Space Station on Tuesday afternoon after completing its work upgrading the outpost. Endeavour undocked from the station at 1:26 pm EDT (1726 GMT) and flew around it before departing the vicinity of the ISS. The STS-127 crew will perform final inspections of the shuttle's tiles and panels in advance of a planned landing at the Kennedy Space Center on Friday morning. During its time at the station the shuttle crew installed an external experiment platform on the Japanese lab module Kibo and performed five spacewalks to outfit the platform and perform additional work on the station.
