A band of electrically charged clouds forced a delay tonight in the launching of the space shuttle Endeavour.
Endeavour and its crew are set to blast off at 7:22 p.m. Friday, but stormy weather could postpone it again.
Seven astronauts from the United States, Russia and France were strapped into Endeavour when thunderstorms pushed the clouds into the Kennedy Space Center area. NASA flight rules call for a launching to be canceled under such conditions.
