Endeavour return delayed by at least 24 hours
CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (AFP) Dec 04, 2002
NASA on Wednesday put back for at least 24 hours the return of the US space shuttle Endeavour because of bad weather at the Kennedy space centre here.

Thick cloud surrounded the Florida base and the mission control commentator said: "It is not a good day to bring Endeavour home."

The shuttle missed two possible landing times.

The three crew and four astronauts being brought back from the international space station will spend at least another 24 hours orbiting Earth while National Aeronautics and Space Administration experts decide whether a landing can be attempted Thursday.
