NASA should stop wasting time exploring other planets because God’s only experiment with life is on Earth, according to televangelist Pat Robertson.

The outspoken conservative told his “700 Club” viewers that the space agency should quit messing around looking into the cosmos, as it contains “nothing but gaseous balls and barren rocks.”

“This planet (Earth) is where God has got an experiment in what he wants to have accomplished,” he said in the show aired by the Christian Broadcasting Network on Wednesday.

“But somehow, people want to spend a lot of money to go to Mars! I don’t think that Mars is someplace I want to visit, and it would take a lot of money to get there,” he continued.

“But nevertheless, our government, our NASA, is exploring new horizons,” he added.
