CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- An odd sight{}had some in the Lowcountry wondering if we were not alone.

Photos were sent into the news room of what looked like a tear-drop-shaped orb of light moving across the sky.

The photos look exactly like the photo shared on social media by the National Weather Service of a rocket that was launched by the United Launch Alliance.

The Atlas V Rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral early Wednesday morning. It's carrying the U.S. Navy's fourth Mobile User Objective System satellite which will add to the communication capabilities for mobile military forces.
