Atlas V launch of Cygnus to ISS delayed; no new date

An Atlas V rocket launch that was scheduled for next week from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station was further delayed following the discovery of another hydraulic issue.

The launch of an Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft to the International Space Station for NASA, which had been scheduled for no earlier than Monday, was delayed after an issue was found with a booster hydraulic line. Earlier this week, the launch slipped due to a different hydraulic issue with ground support equipment.

"The team is developing a plan to resolve the issue and a new launch date will be determined," ULA said in a statement on Wednesday.

Schedule of upcoming Florida rocket launches

A launch on Monday from Launch Complex 41 would have been around 7:45 p.m.

The Cygnus, on a mission named OA-7, will launch with nearly 7,500 pounds of supplies bound for the ISS.

SpaceX, meanwhile, is tentatively targeting a March 29 liftoff of a Falcon 9 rocket and SES-10 commercial communications satellite from Kennedy Space Center's pad 39A.
