Europe’s space agency to discuss future of Mars mission in July

The ESA is continuing to analyze the situation

MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. The European Space Agency will discuss the future of ExoMars project at its meeting in July, Russia’s State Space Corporation told TASS on Thursday, citing ESA.

"According to information provided by ESA, its ruling Council meeting is scheduled to take place in July 2022", when member states will decide the future of the project that was carried out in cooperation with Russia, the corporation said, adding the ESA was continuing to analyze the situation.

The Russian side will make a "final decision on a way forward to implement the Mars exploration mission, possibly with international partners," after ESA’s July meeting, the press service reported.
