The British government is expected to announce plans to build a telescope dedicated to the search for near-Earth objects (NEOs), a British newspaper reported Sunday. Construction of such a telescope was recommended in a government funded study of the NEO threat published in September. No details on the design of the telescope nor its location have been released.
