Progress undocks from station

Progress spacecraft on approach to ISS (NASA) A Progress spacecraft loaded with garbage undocked from the International Space Station on Wednesday, making way for a new cargo spacecraft scheduled for launch late Thursday. The spacecraft, known alternative as Progress M-47 and Progress 10, undocked from the station Wednesday at 6:48 pm EDT (2248 GMT). It deorbited and reentered over the Pacific Ocean a few hours later, according to Russian reports. The spacecraft had been docked to the station since early February. The undocking clears the way for the next Progress mission, known as Progress M-48 and Progress 12. The spacecraft is scheduled for launch at 9:48 pm EDT Thursday (0148 GMT Friday) on a Soyuz rocket from Baikonur.
