Alcatel Alenia Space has signed a deal to build a communications satellite for a Turkish company, the satellite manufacturer announced Thursday. Alcatel will build the Turksat 3A satellite for Turksat AS under a delivery-in-orbit contract, terms of which were not disclosed.
