Soyuz returns to Earth

Soyuz TMA-2 landing A Soyuz spacecraft carrying the previous ISS crew and a commercial passenger returned to Earth late Thursday. The Soyuz TMA-8 spacecraft landed about 80 kilometers northeast of Arkalyk, Kazakhstan at 9:13 pm EDT Thursday (0113 GMT Friday.) On board the Soyuz spacecraft were two members of the Expedition 13 crew, Pavel Vinogradov and Jeff Williams, who completed a six-month stay on the ISS, as well as commercial passenger Anousheh Ansari, who flew to the ISS on the Soyuz TMA-9 spacecraft that launched on September 18. All three were reported to be in good condition after landing.
