Progress launched to ISS

Soyuz launch (Energia file photo) A Progress cargo spacecraft was launched on a mission to the International Space Station on Monday. A Soyuz rocket launched the Progress M-58 spacecraft (called Progress 23 by NASA) from Baikonur Cosmodrome at 9:41 am EDT (1341 GMT). The spacecraft is carrying about 2.5 tons of food, water, fuel, and other supplies for the three-man Expedition 14 crew. The spacecraft is scheduled to dock with the ISS at 10:28 am EDT (1428 GMT) Thursday.
