STS-123: rollout (NASA/KSC) As the space shuttle Atlantis was undocking from the International Space Station to return to Earth, the shuttle Endeavour was rolling out to the launch pad in preparation for the next mission to the ISS. Endeavour, attached to its external tank and solid rocket boosters, arrived at Pad 39A at 4:45 am EST (0945 GMT), nearly five and a half hours after leaving the Vehicle Assembly Building. Endeavour is scheduled to lift off on mission STS-123 on March 11, delivering a section of Japan's Kibo laboratory and the Canadian robotic arm system Dextre to the station.
