Orbital Sciences Corporation reported increased revenues and profits in its fiscal second quarter on Thursday. The company reported operating income of $26.5 million on $301.2 million in revenues in the second quarter of 2008, compared to operating income of $20.9 million on $261.2 million in the same quarter of 2007. The company credited the revenue increase on increased work on NASA and national security programs as well as launch vehicles.
