DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - A strike in Decatur has come to an end.

The United Launch Alliance (ULA) announced Saturday that members of the International Association of Machinists Aerospace Workers (IAM) have accepted their four-year contract offer. The employees will return to work after being on strike since May 7.

"We are pleased that IAM represented employees have ratified this agreement that is so critical to continuing ULA's success," said ULA president and CEO Tony Bruno.

ULA employees stated that the strike was about working conditions, which included having to travel hundreds of miles.
