  • NASA administrator Sean O'Keefe is scheduled to make a "major announcement" Monday morning in upstate New York. O'Keefe will make the announcement at the Utica Childrens Museum; the topic of the announcement is unknown but a team from Cornell University working on a Mars rover project will also be in attendance. O'Keefe will be there at the invitation of Rep. Sherwood Boehlert, chairman of the House Science Committee.
  • A group of Chinese students stated a visit to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday, the first such visit by a Chinese group. The group of 43 elementary and middle-school students will spend four nights at Space Camp.
