Posted: Sat, Jan 8, 2005, 6:26 PM ET (2326 GMT)
NASA NASA announced Friday it has narrowed its choice for the site of a new business center to locations near three NASA centers. The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) will consolidate a number of financial and administrative activities currently dispersed among the agency's field centers. On Friday NASA said the NSSC will be located in Cleveland, Huntsville, or the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Those three sites were picked from among six semifinalist sites announced last year; the other three were Houston, Orlando, and Newport News, Virginia. NASA is expected to make a final decision on the 500-job facility in May.
