STS-132: rollout (NASA/KSC) NASA rolled out the space shuttle Atlantis for what may be the final time Thursday in preparation for its launch next month. Atlantis, attached to its external tank and SRBs, left the Vehicle Assembly Building at about 11:30 pm Wednesday (0330 GMT Thursday) and arrived at Pad 39A about six hours later. The shuttle had been scheduled for rollout earlier in the week but was postponed by weather. Atlantis is scheduled for launch on May 14 on STS-132, the last mission scheduled for that orbiter before its retirement. Three shuttle missions, including STS-132, are scheduled before the shuttle program ends late this year.
