A Russian Progress cargo spacecraft undocked from the ISS early on Monday, clearing a port for a new Progress scheduled for launch later this week. The Progress M-08M spacecraft undocked from the Pirs module at just after 7:40 pm EST Sunday (0040 GMT Monday) and deorbited over the south Pacific five and a half hours later. The spacecraft had been docked to the station since late October. A new Progress spacecraft, Progress M-09M, is scheduled for launch on Friday to ferry cargo to the ISS.
