Armstrong recovering from heart surgery

Armstrong, Neil in 2012 (J. Foust) The first man to set foot on the surface of the Moon is recuperating from heart surgery recently. Neil Armstrong is said to be recovering well from recent cardiac bypass surgery, although few details about the procedure have been released by Armstrong's family. Armstrong received well-wishes from NASA administrator Charles Bolden as well as Buzz Aldrin, who landed on the Moon with Armstrong on Apollo 11 in 1969. Armstrong turned 82 on Sunday.
