Posted: Sun, Sep 15, 2019, 7:59 AM ET (1159 GMT)
Small launch vehicle company Relativity announced a launch agreement Wednesday with Momentus. The agreement includes one launch of Relativity's Terran 1 rocket in 2021 with an option for up to five additional launches. The 2021 launch will fly Momentus' Vigoride Extended tug, capable of carrying up to 350 kilograms of satellites to geostationary orbit. Momentus is developing a series of tugs to move satellites to their desired orbits, and recently started in-orbit testing of its water plasma thruster technology.
