ISS EVA on 2020 January 20 (NASA) Astronauts completed the replacement of batteries in the International Space Station's power system during a spacewalk Monday. Christina Koch and Jessica Meir spent nearly seven hours outside the station in their second spacewalk in less than a week. The two wrapped up work replacing batteries on the far end of the port truss of the station that are part of the station's power supply. That work started in October but was put on hold when a battery charging unit malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Two other astronauts, Andrew Morgan and Luca Parmitano, will perform another spacewalk Saturday to complete repairs to the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer instrument on the station.
