Firefly raises $75 million

Firefly Aerospace raised $75 million as it prepares for its second launch. AE Industrial Partners (AEI) led the Series B round announced Tuesday, valuing Firefly at more than $1 billion. AEI also announced it closed its purchase of the stake in Firefly that Noosphere Ventures had owned. Firefly says it will be ready this spring for a second orbital launch attempt of its Alpha rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
