FAA postpones completion of Starship environmental review
Posted: Sat, Jun 4, 2022, 8:11 AM ET (1211 GMT)
The FAA has again delayed the completion of an environmental review of Starship launches from Texas, but only by a couple weeks. The FAA said Tuesday it was postponing the release of the final environmental review of Starship orbital launches from Boca Chica, Texas, to June 13. The FAA has delayed the completion of the review, originally scheduled for the end of 2021, several times, but past delays have been one or two months at a time. A two-week delay suggests that the FAA is nearing completion of interagency consultations needed for the review.
