A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 12:00 pm EDT (1600 GMT) from the Kennedy Space Center and placed the Crew Dragon spacecraft Endurance into orbit 12 minutes later. The spacecraft, flying the Crew-5 mission, is carrying four people from NASA, JAXA and Roscosmos to the station, with docking taking place at 5:01 pm EDT (2101 GMT) Thursday.
