Long March 11 launches three satellites

A Long March 11 rocket placed three satellites into orbit Dec. 25. The rocket lifted off from a platform in waters off the coast from Guangdong Province at 6:39 pm EST (2339 GMT). It put into orbit three Shiyan-24C satellites that Chinese media said will be used for science and technology experiments.
