SpaceX launches Crew-8 to ISS

Falcon 9 launch of Crew-8 (SpaceX) A new crew launched to the International Space Station Sunday night. A Falcon 9 lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center at 10:53 pm EST (0353 GMT Monday) and placed the Crew Dragon spacecraft Endeavour into orbit. That spacecraft, flying NASA's Crew-8 mission, is carrying three NASA astronauts and one Roscosmos cosmonaut to the ISS for a six-month stay, with docking taking place around 2:30 am EST (0730 GMT) Tuesday. The launch was scheduled for Saturday night but postponed by weather.
