In-space transportation company Impulse Space has raised $150 million. The company announced the Series B round Tuesday led by Founders Fund with participation from several returning and new investors, such as Lux Capital, Spring Tide and DCVC. Impulse said the funding will allow it to move ahead with work on two orbital transfer vehicles, Mira and Helios. The company launched its first Mira last November and is working on an upgraded version while developing the more powerful Helios vehicle designed to transport large satellites from LEO to GEO within a day.
