ATV-4 docks with ISS

ATV-4 docking to the ISS (ESA) A European cargo spacecraft successfully docked with the International Space Station on Saturday. The Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) 4 spacecraft, nicknamed "Albert Einstein", docked with the aft port of the Zvezda module at 10:01 am EDT (1407 GMT) Saturday. ATV-4, launched by an Ariane 5 on June 5, is carrying nearly 6,600 kilograms of food, water, and other supplies for the station. ATV-4 will remain docked to the station, reboosting its orbit on occasion, until late October.
