NASA The White House is proposing a budget increase of more than 6% for NASA in fiscal year 2022. A budget outline released by the Biden administration Friday offered $24.7 billion for NASA in 2022, with significant increases in Earth science and space technology. NASA's human space exploration program would get a 5% increase, but the document didn't discuss how that funding would be allocated among various programs that are part of Artemis, or provide a schedule for returning humans to the moon. A full budget proposal is expected later this spring.
