China launches SAR satellite

China launched a SAR imaging satellite Wednesday. A Long March 4C rocket lifted off at 7:47 pm EDT (2347 GMT) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and placed the Gaofen-3 03 spacecraft into orbit. The satellite will join two others to provide SAR imagery with a resolution of one meter and daily revisits.
